An update on our electrical services during the coronavirus pandemic

As everyone is acutely aware, the world is currently in the midst of a global coronavirus pandemic, so we thought we’d send out an update regarding our electrical services during this time.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our work and the fact that our offices at Springfield Commercial Centre in Farsley have been closed in response to the pandemic, we’re unable to offer our electrical services at this current time.

The safety of our domestic and commercial clients and our electricians is of paramount importance to us at all times, and we all have a responsibility to abide by government guidelines in order to help this difficult period pass as quickly as possible.

We’ll be continually monitoring the situation, and will be back up and operational as soon as we’re advised it’s safe to do so!

Support for Leeds businesses affected by coronavirus

We know it’s a particularly worrying time for small businesses across pretty much every sector, and we hope that everyone can find a way to navigate through this – we’re firm believers that with combined effort and mutual support we’ll all come out even stronger at the end!

In the meantime, if you’re a business in Leeds impacted by the pandemic, you can access the application for the £10,000 coronavirus business grant here. Just fill in all your details, and if you qualify they’ll pay the funds directly into your bank account as soon as they’re released.

Time for reflection

It’s important to look for the silver lining in these uncertain situations – it’s a time for reflection, and an opportunity to spend some extra time with loved ones in your household.

Here at Hi-Spec Electrical, we’ve been lucky enough to enjoy a rapid growth rate up until the current coronavirus climate, and we’re determined that this won’t deter us. While we’re unable to offer electrical services, we’ll be spending some time on business development so that we can press forward from a positive starting point as soon as this is all over.

For some, this period will feel very isolating and traumatic – we’re sure everyone will ride a bit of an emotional rollercoaster over the coming weeks. If at any point you’re feeling this is all too much to take, we urge you to contact one of the NHS helplines available, and to reach out to friends and family for support. We’re all in this together.

Finally, we’d like to thank all our valued customers who we’ve worked with over the past few years since our launch. We’ve made some great memories and look forward to helping you with your electrical requirements again in the future.

Now stay safe, stay at home and wash your hands!
